Life’s Dance

Maybe I’ll never fully grow
And my wings fully part
Maybe I’ll never live to show
All I have within my heart.

Maybe all my wrong doings
Will outweigh all of my good
Maybe everything I’ve spent my life pursuing
Won’t turn out like I thought it would.

Maybe the life
I dream for myself
Will be the life
For someone else.

Maybe I’ll end up bitter
Cast a jealous eye
End up a quitter
And let all I dream of die.

Maybe all I love
Will be all I grow to hate
Or maybe all I love
Will be all that makes life great.

That’s the chance I take
As I dance through fate
But dancing’s great
So I dance with grace.
