Hurts a little
Won’t say not
Liked more than a little
Maybe liked more than a lot.
Know that it was foolish
But I can’t help but look a fool
When I know my want I pursue it
And seldom care for looking cool.
Even when it hurts
I try keep no regrets
For next time something hurts
I find it hurts a little less.
Would rather look a fool in moves of hope
Than be the fool who looks but never steps
Steps I’ll keep on making, for if I had taken others
Times I’d look less foolish, but worse, be left a fools regrets.
