Don’t Leave

November 17, 2016 danielbreslinpoetry

Please don’t leave me with my thoughts
I’m so scared what they can do
Please sit, stay, and talk
Keep my mind distracted from turning blue.

Don’t leave me left alone
With these stones, among these walls
That’s when my mind starts to roam
I feel alone, and darkness calls.
