Wonder At The Stars

I often wonder at the stars
As I wonder where you are
Be you near or are you far
I wish you nearer than you are.

Often gaze up through the haze
Of this wondrous starry maze
Ponder how you spend your days
As eyes wander their blended rays.

My eyes flick, among these sparkled dancers
Realise lies might fit more than sharper answers
My sides split, as if hit by lancers
As my eyes dip, from the skies romancers.

I think of what you’re doing
Try to think less of who you’re seeing
Wonder if you’re pursuing
Everything you were dreaming.

Everyone you pursue
I hope for you comes true
I romance the black sky
Though hope the skies blue for you.

Woman You’re Special

Woman you’re special
Incredible and sweet
On another level
Incredibly deep
I feel like a devil
Ineligible and cheap
Yet you lift this devil
To an incredible peak.

Your eyes pierce my soul
As they weed my demons
Forgive my lies, make me whole
Till I feel I’m dreaming.
I rise to another role
And you’re the one that gives me reason
Never ceasing to surprise, my heart is stole
Indebted, to the very one that done the thieving.

Wish I Gave You More

The greatest gift you can give is time
I wish I gave you more of mine
What you are is pure divine
What we were is lost in time.

What we had was something great
You gave so much; did I only take?
I wish I gave you as much, so much it can ache
Though we can only hope to learn, from our mistakes.

For I can’t change
What has been done
For now it’s lost,
Though for awhile all was won.

From the old,
Something new will always come
I hope to grasp it with both hands
Something I hope you’ve already done.

Woman What A Creature

Woman what a creature you are
What a beauty you can be
When you let your true features star
When you let your true beauty free.

Woman how divine you are
When you love so soulfully
Your soul becomes my strength
Your heart the spine in me.

Woman how elated I stand
When you stand next to me
You’re what makes this man
You’re what sets the boy free.

Why Don’t You Dance For Me

Why don’t you dance for me
Softly, and slowly
And why can’t we just be
Our eyes unafraid to see.

I won’t run from you
And you won’t run from me
Why can’t we be free
From everything we have come to be.

Why don’t you dance for me
Softly, and slowly
And I will dance for you
If you dance and want me to too.

And we will be free
From everything we have come to be
And you won’t run from you
And I won’t run from me.

When Words Can’t Say Enough

When words can’t say enough
No more can be said in touch
There is a feeling in your gut
You convey it in a look.

When there is a debt you can’t repay
You will never forget, yet struggle to say
Something in your chest, bundled away
You exhale a breath, as words just wouldn’t convey.

Your eyes meet
A feeling is shared
You might weep
But wouldn’t dare.

Something deep
Passes the air
A moment two keep
Forever in air.
