Blessed

November 17, 2016 danielbreslinpoetry

The world
Made but few angels
Though at my table
It placed two.
I was blessed
Before the cradle
When life
Delivered me to you.

All laid out before me
Life, must adore me
There are thorns
In every story.
But mine, would not be
Born or formed
But for
My mothers glory.
