Searching

Sunshine blinds the eye
Laughter drowns the cry.
Never down in search of a high
Maybe a clown it all passes me by.

Always searching, looking for a place
Feel a thirsting to taste every taste
All the while deserting all in close space
It would seem my searching has mostly found waste .

While always hunting
Something that’s new
I keep jumping
Everything in my view.

Sanity In Madness

Sanity in madness
Is a truth I often find
When on all too rare occasions
I find solace, in the midst of losing our minds.

When friends unite to delight in each other
Laughing anew as we do remiss
I am brought back to humanity
Shaken alive, from what can be, a mere exist.

In the unrestrained madness
Experienced in endless jest
I find and save my sanity
By losing my mind in a much welcome mess.

Times to me so perfect
My body wants to laugh as it cries
Instead I let it do neither
Selfishly savouring the moment behind the veil of a smile.

For our time is oh so brief
Too often we forget to savour our improbable chance
Letting ourselves get caught in trivialities, a thief
Truly lost, steal our own thoughts, away from the beauty, of this wicked romance.

So moments of madness I selfishly savour
For they always give as they make real my part
For I feel so free in our outrageous behavior
As we laugh unforgiving, enjoying our participance , in the worlds greatest, dying art.

Madness Lives

Madness lives in cracks and creaks
Where sadness is hid, and silently speaks
Together they waltz in a slow creeping dance
Invading the minds vaults, in a loveless romance.

Happiness evades their treacherous offering
As two knights of the shade vie to dethrone a king
A dance is formed, its steps put in place
A soul is torn forgets its old shape.

A mind at ease, pleased by two movers
The blind deceived, receives the two losers
The dance is slow, its finale is chilling
A king hath been slain, with no witness to the killing.

Rich In Life

Might not be rich in wealth
But she rich in self
That’s the kind of girl
That make my heart melt.

Not rich in things
But rich in values
Make my heart sing
Make my heart value.

Loving, caring
Sharing and funny
Knows much more important
Than just looks and money.

Got heart, character
Things money can’t buy
I watched many a fool burn
Both as they try.

She not rich in wealth
But she oil rich in life
That’s the kind of girl
I call my type.

Honest, straight
Tell you as it is
Person like that
Person with I could live.

She got the riches
Not every eye can see
But they’re the riches
Make a rich guy of me.

Might not be rich in wealth
But oil rich in life
That’s the kind of girl
I call my type.

Rise, Tall

Never ask for anything
Yet you give them all
Give them nearly everything
And then they let you fall.

Play the clown
To play it down
When your backs
Against the wall.

Standing firm
While your heart burns
Hoping they learn
They learn, fuck all.

Do not despise
Unlearned eyes
As you rise
To walk more tall.

For if you look within
When you lose you win
And no time
Is ever lost all.

Put That Smile On My Face

Put that smile on my face
Like only you do best
You always care more
So many couldn’t care less.

Put that smile on my face
When I’m full of unspoken stress
Never asking what they are
Knowing I’ll tell you when it’s best.

Put that smile on my face
One only few can do
Knowing in every battle that you face
I’ll be beside you battling too.

Keeping a smile on someones face
Is the greatest thing one can do
And in every battle that they face
They’ll be already half way through.
