You Know It

They’re coming for your rights
They’re coming for your rights
You ready for a fight?
They’re coming for your rights.

You know it
You feel it
You sense it
You see it.

You ignore it
You leave it
For someone else
To deal with.

It scares you
You fear it
Not prepared
To be near it.

Feel powerless
Hopeless
Give something else
Your focus.

But you know that
You’re in it
Just scared
To admit it.

That’s what they want
That’s what they do
Spend fortunes
Controlling you.

They’re coming for your rights
Taking them when they like
They are the parasites
Hiding in plain sight.

Tired

I’m tired of going out
I’m tired of sitting in
I’m tired of what’s on offer
I’m tired of what’s been.

I’m tired of all these people
I’m even tiring of myself
I’m tired of this world’s evil
And I’m tired of everything else.

I’m tired of playing games
The ups and downs of love
I’m tired of racking my brain
About what’s wrong and what is good.

I’m tired of doing what I shouldn’t
Ignoring the things I should
I’m tired of ignoring good loving
Then being ignored by love.

I’m tired and disillusioned
A slightly beaten broken man
I’m tired in a ball of confusion
So please don’t ask me how I am.

Eventually I’ll be fine
Eventually I’ll pull through
I’m just living in a darkened state of mind
For there’s just so much darkness in my view.

I’m tired of looking for light
Tired of fighting to be a light too
I’m just tired a little tonight
Tomorrow we start anew.

Those Who Diss It

Those who diss it
Often wish it
Hide that they miss it
Deny they solicit.

It seems here
There streams a fear
In which dreams appear
To seem insincere.

Those who doubt love
Are not those without good
Might embrace it if they could
Who’s to say if they should.

For some who doubt it
Merely fear it
That they might love
And get nowhere near it.

For there is nothing more uninvited
Than a burning love unrequited
Nothing more entirely fearsome
To make the heart grow tired and wearisome.

Though when returned, there’s nothing more exciting
As refreshing as it can be blinding
Though when the time is right, it’s so enlightening
The kind of love, surely not worth fighting.

Working Man

I’m a working man
Putting money in my pocket
I’m a working man
I’m a rise, I’m a rocket.

I’m a working man
You can see it in my eyes
I’m a working man
With no family ties.

I’m a working man
I’m a man on a mission
I’m a working man
You can taste my ambition.

I’m a working man
Worked my whole life through
I’m a working man
It work for me, I work for you.

I’m a working man
And I’m a work these hands
Until these hands
Have a better hand.

I’m a working man
Watch my eyes
I’m a working man
Watch me rise.

I’m a working man
Putting money in my pocket
I’m a working man
I’m a rise, I’m a rocket.

I Want The One

I want the one
Then not one more
The one I can plan with
The one which to explore.
Explore the interior
Become one in the physical
Know no superior
Live a real miracle.
One I can laugh with
Tell all my truth
In company feel comfort
In company feel loose.
Play not the game
Of who wins the most
But how two together
Can better us both.
The one who’s a friend
Before they’re a lover
When time that you spend
Is a pleasure, not a lie you both cover.
One who is real
Wise to the fake
Says what they feel
Not to impress or gain grace.
It may not exist
But I’ll not settle for less
I’ll choose only by person
Then get the rest.
I want the one
Then not one more
The one I can plan with
The one which to explore.
