The Mind Of A Girl

The mind of a girl
Now there’s a crazy world
Be careful when you enter
Thread easy when you venture
It seems easy to offend
Spend half my time trying to mend
My many flaws
Has me banging my head of the walls
Trying to sort out problems that I cause
Wish I’d taken time to pause
Every time I open my mouth
The wrong words come out
It’s like my brain has a drought
When it starts working, it’s drowned out by her shout
So many changes
In her emotional ranges
At times has me feeling
Like we’re two complete strangers
Everything I say, seems to offend her
Makes me feel like a pretender
Don’t feel like a real contender
Her heart may be one I’ll never render
One I’ll never tame
Point the gun but who’s to blame
Time will change
It ain’t been the same
Her furious shouts
Bring curious bouts
Of serious doubts
Delirious louts
Strung out on a love that use to be
What happened to you and me?
Used to stay up all night talking
Now everyday we fight, I feel like walking.

I remember the beginning
When eyes set
One of the sexiest women
I ever met
That’s my opinion
And I’ll never forget
Those nights in linen
Breaking sweat
Now the lights are dimming
You’re always upset
Fights you try winning
To keep me in check
All you do is reject
Has me feeling inept
Feel I’m breaking my neck
To get a little respect
You’re so easy to vex
It’s just gotten complex
Say you don’t want the sex
What’s it going to be next?
It’s getting hard to cope
We’re becoming a joke
We should cut the rope
Before we both choke
We’re just hanging on
To a love that’s gone
In our foolish youth
Fighting nail and tooth
Should we end it now?
All we do is row
Calling me pig, I’m calling you cow
Should we take our bow?
We’re living a lie
Should we say goodbye?
Or turn a blind eye
And give it one more try.

We’re staying together
But we should know better
All I do is upset her
Thought we’d last forever
But we’re drifting apart
There’s a rift in her heart
But I’d be lying to you
There’s a rift in mine to
There’s things we both want to do
But we lie and stay true
We both have our own dreams
Our own ambitions
But we’ve become machines
Our loves tradition
It’s them anniversary days
That keep our ways
When each heart betrays
As each mind portrays
Them exciting days past
So we tighten our grasp
Such big bridges
Take time to burn
We’ve hit many ridges
But in time we’ll learn
I’m just trying to show, some decency
When I was low, she calmed the beast in me
But it’s hard to let go, peacefully
Because’I know, she’s a piece of me
If we say our goodbyes
A piece of me dies
But when I look in her eyes
I know we’re living on lies
It just takes time,
To nip the bud
And up and quit
On your first love.

The Devil’s Back

Fuck God
Because the Devil’s back
He’s got a bottle of potion
And he’s out on the lash.

So keep them girls locked tight
It’s the night of the demons
Tonight’s their night
Havoc’s their reason.

It’ll be pure fun
It’ll be pure mayhem
But when the Devil’s work is done
Ain’t no one going to save them.

In the morning when it’s dawn
And it’s clear the buzz is gone
You will see you’re just a pawn
Trapped in the Devil’s song.

The Cauldron

We enter the cauldron
The gladiators pit
The atmosphere is scalding
We feel every bit.

Our history stands before us
A new one awaits
Inspired by the chorus
That lifts us through the gates.

The opponents take their formation
We stand fearless in front of it
Our eyes brave full of determination
Our lives forgotten for just a bit.

I look at each man beside me
Each ready to die in the tackle
I feel pride rise inside me
I’m ready to ride into battle.

I look to the stand
I see faces full of trust
I’m at one with every man
And victory’s all we lust.

Every tackle I make
I do for more than the team
For every tackle I break
I hear a whole nation scream.

For every score
For every point taken
There is a deafening roar
That leave my joints shaken.

I am honoured to wear the jersey
I am honoured to play with these men
We’ve done it before we showed no mercy
Now we’re sure thirsty to do it again.

So let me out on this battlefield
With these warriors to the core
The enemy knows we won’t yield
The enemy fears what lies in store.

Take Your Time

Take your time and get it right
That’s something I’m trying to learn too
Slow and steady wins the race of life
But I hate races and rules.

I tend to do things the way I like
But that don’t always work out too
Sometimes I be dancing laughing with life
Other times I be cursing life and myself too.

Take your time and get it right
That’s something I’m trying to learn to do
For I’ve lost many things in life I like
Because I’ve the patience of a fool.

The Boxer

It’s fight night
Feel my pulse tonight
I was built to excite
Don’t wilt I ignite
Swing a left then a right
And I surpass my height
To fast for sight
It’s your ass tonight
Swing speed like a light
Sting recede you feel the bite
In this ring it’s my fight
A King witness my might
You’re exactly my type
Can’t match me I’m ripe
On my feet I’m too light
The best you’ll meet in your life
And the best will beat you tonight
Now stick that in your pipe
I’m a boxing delight
Out foxing despite
Your advantage in height
I’m a savage you’re right
I manage my spite
Going to do damage tonight
Need bandages from my strikes
Dodge your left, lodge my right
Bob and weave I’m too bright
Too great an insight
When your locked in my sight
I swing one hell of a right
Hit floor, ring bell, that’s goodnight.

I’ve been beating them pads
You been eating kebabs
I’m going to beating your abs
While you’re eating my jabs
I’ll duck your right hook
Then erupt an upper cut
Construct while your stood shook
Then destruct till you can’t stand up
If you’re scarred up
It’s not some hard luck
It’s down to hard work
You better keep that guard up
You can’t batter me
You can’t knacker me
You ain’t a patch on me
I’m Mr. Accuracy
When I cast my stare and aim
You best prepare for a blast of pain
Barely able to grasp my name
I’m a different class in this game
I switch my style and change
So you’re always in my range
No such thing as a fair exchange
After me you won’t fight the same
Bet your life I’m a fine bet
Ain’t never been behind yet
Mess up your face then your mind set
No one notice you in a line check
Fists like kegs, hitting your head
Till your legs, feel like lead
Then when I’m ahead
Lights out! Just like I said.

Your game plan abandon it
Never just a random hit
The ring I’m commanding it
Falling’s the only hand you’ll have in it
You keep presenting challenges
I keep implementing damages
My anger I can channel it
Present a battle and I’ll handle it
You can try work me on the chin
Like I’ve been working in the gym
I only came to win
There’s no chance I’m giving in
I’ll rise to the challenge here
I survive and persevere
I’ve got drive you can’t get near
I thrive on the atmosphere
Feel alive when I hear them cheer
As I strive to do damage here
No one I’ll dive, cause no one I fear
Anyone you throw at me
Better be prepared to go toe to toe with me
Call yourself a challenger
I call myself the damager
You be calling to your manager
‘You said it’d be a tight bout
He just knocked my lights out’
I’m gifted as a fighter
Arms lifted, defence tighter
When I throw punches
They come in bunches
The body crunches
So trust your hunches
There ain’t no solution here
You’re fighting an executioner
Got a whole new demeanour
When I step in the arena
Make you realise you’re just a dreamer
But hey, I’m looking for a cleaner.

Sometimes

Sometimes you can’t make it on your own
Sometimes you can’t make it by yourself
Sometimes this world will cut you to the bone
You can’t always, refuse everybody’s help.

Sometimes this life will tare your guts out
Sometimes it will break your heart
Does no good to keep everybody shut out
Make what’s tough, ever more hard.

Sometimes this life will eat you up
Sometimes it will beat you down
There’ll be times it seems you have no luck
As you look at what you built crumble to the ground.

It’s times like these you can’t make it on your own
Times like these, you discover your real friends
They’re the ones once all is known
Don’t even have to ask, they insist on help.

Times like these, character emerges
Times like these, are times to grow
Times like these, serve a purpose
Just make sure these times, are not all you know.
